I know the inventor of musical stairs and the original walking piano. His name is Remo Saraceni and he is an absolute genius.
He designed these magical items more than twenty years ago and Tom Hanks was the first to dance on walking piano in the movie Big.

Great Blog article Jules. Obviously I raised a similar topic last week.

I think it is interesting how times have changed. Obviously there is a need for more ‘work’. Perhaps through an expanding population as well as through peoples greater needs. Those new technologies mentioned all need Research and Development as well as people to run those businesses, support etc. We are also in more of a global world.

In general though I do agree and we should try to ’switch off’ at a reasonable time!

I was there and yes it was a good meeting and excellent venue. I am sure that even more will attend in the future and the online opportunities will be extended as more people join.

I absolutely agree with the sentiment that networking is not about instant results. Why should it be really? If it was like that it would mean no loyalty between people if everytime a new face turned up you would reward them with your orders. Just one example.

It is also about extending your reach. I got a phone call today from a fellow 4N ‘er with a lead. That is a good example of how it can work.
