Do we have to travel to a studio?
No the benefit of 4 Part Music is we bring the studio to you. As well as a 24 track digital recording rig we also provide accoustic panelling so we can convert almost any space into a suitable recording venue.
Can we sell our recording online?
Yes we have a number of distribution partners so we can sell your recording on iTunes, Amazon and a wide variety of other online stores.
Do you make CDs?
Yes we can produce CDs in any quantity from 100 upwards in a wide variety of packaging.
How long does it take?
Most recording sessions are 3 hours. Depending on how much you want to record will depend on the total length of time required. We will advise you on this before undertaking the recording.
How soon before I can hear my recording?
We offer live play back during the sessions if required and will usually create rushes either on the day or within 24 hours for you to have a first listen to your recording.
How many people do you bring to a recording?
Generally all our recordings are done with 2 or 3 people depending on the setup. We always bring a sound engineer and usually a music producer as well. For larger recordings we bring other staff to help with the setup. This would be agreed with you before the recording day.
Can I bring my own producer?
Yes we setup a "producer desk" which gives your producer full control over playback, talkback and management of the session. We can also offer this across an internet connection so your producer could be anywhere in the world.
