Recording
4 Part Music offer a wide range of professional on location recording services for the classical music industry. We only ever use our own in-house engineers and music producers coupled with our own dedicated and carefully chosen recording equipment to ensure that we achieve the very highest possible standards. A great deal of our equipment has been designed and built to our own specification so that our recordings are never compromised in any way.
By using a sophisticated multiple micing technique similar to that used by the BBC we are able to capture both stereo and 5.1 surround sound. As a result all of our recordings are of the highest possible audio quality and often regarded as “broadcast standard”. As well as standard CDs we also produce DVD-Audio discs which means additional interactive information can be added which is then viewed using a DVD player.
We work throughout the UK in a wide variety of venues from small studios through to school halls, large concert venues and Cathedrals. As well as recording music we also have a dedicated mobile set up for recording voiceovers and have also recorded weddings and memorial services. Another very popular part of our business is the work we do with schools and universities.
