Rates – 2009

At Four Part Music, we believe in a completely transparent fee structure and will always provide a bespoke quotation for each job.  However to give some indication on costs each recording is generally divided into three sections.

Part 1 – On Location Digital Recording
Prices from £499

Comprises:
1 x audio engineer
1 x music producer
Multiple  microphone solution with up to 16 channels
2 x 3 hour recording sessions on the same day
Editing of 6 hours of music to create up to 1 hour of music
Basic mix / mastering of product to create a pre-master

Part 2 – Mixing, mastering and output
Prices from £99

Once we have agreed the final edit we will then embark upon the mastering process in order to create a production master CD that can then be used to create multiple CD’s or as a basis for the creation of electronic files suitable for distribution via iTunes or a similar medium.

Part 3 – CD Duplication / Replication

As a guide the process of duplication is for small runs of anything from 1 to 500 CD’s. For replication there is usually a minimum quantity of 1000 although the per unit price will be cheaper. Some example pricing is shown in the table below.

Process Quantity Unit Price
CD Duplication 100 £4
CD Duplication 250 £3
CD Duplication 500 £2
CD Replication 1000 £1
