Recordings for Schools
The work we do in schools and universities has always been a very important part of our business as we believe music in schools is something that needs to be encouraged and developed in a positive way.
A recording for a school will usually encompass a wide variety of music from the school choir or orchestra through to small chamber ensembles, jazz trios or even a rock band. As well as music we can also record drama productions or readings. We believe that a successful recording in a school is one that involves as many people (staff and students alike) as possible in order that it can be a positive experience for the school. It is important to remember that a CD is not aimed simply at the family of those involved but can also be an important marketing tool.
To further enhance this we also offer multipack CD and DVD-Audio which means that in addition to the audio CD, the DVD disc will not only play the audio in true 5.1 surround but also offer further interactive information such as programme notes and the school prospectus which can be viewed via any standard DVD player, rather like the “extras” disc which accompanies films.
