Over the last few months we have carried out a lot of recordings at Hayesfield Girls School in Bath. The majority of these recordings have been thanks to Bath’s Mr Music, Choirmaster and entrepreneur Grenville Jones. Grenville is one of the leading and most inspirational musicians working in Bath at the moment. He directs and ever growing number of choirs as well as his charity The Goldies.
We are fortunate enough to be involved with a lot of recording work for which Grenville is responsible. Not only do we record all his choirs, but we also record a lot of Bath Primary Schools which themselves have a lot of contact with Grenville. Our latest CD is entitled Music at The West Wing and brings together a number of Bath Community Choirs to record a compilation CD. Essentially it’s a Best of Bath Choirs CD. Not surprisingly the idea came from Grenville who saw an opportunity to bring together lots of choirs and record a CD to celebrate their talents.
