CD Recording – Leatherhead Choral Society

Leatherhead Choral Society CD

Our latest recording took us to Surrey in order to record Leatherhead Choral Society.

About the Choir

Leatherhead Choral Society is a friendly and sociable amateur mixed voice choir of about 70 singers (non-auditioned), based in the town of Leatherhead, Surrey.

The Choral Society was founded in 1928 and perform two major concerts a year in addition to our annual appearance at the Leith Hill Musical Festival in the Spring, as well as regular Christmas charity concerts and other activities.

The Recording

The recording took place in St Mary and St Nicholas Church Parish Church in Leatherhead and was just a half day session.   We were given access from 2pm in order to set up and be ready to record by 3pm ideally.  Generally speaking it takes about an hour to set up and be ready to record and one of the biggest variables in this is the distance from where we can park in relation to the venue. However, the choir members were happy to carry boxes from the van to the church which helped a great deal and meant we were ready on time to start recording.

What did the customer think?

It’s always nice when we receive positive feedback from a client.  Following delivery of the CD’s we received this testimonial from the Choir Secretary.

Thank you so much for the excellent service you provided in recording our session yesterday.  It was a pleasure to meet you and we appreciated all your hard work in ensuring that we have the best recording possible.
